In Christmas 2013 italian artist Francesco Artese built this magnificent nativity creche in the Cathedral of Turku.

The view is situated in Italy, the old Matera town in the county of Basilicata, and it includes the Holy Family with baby Jesus Christ in a cave in front of the scene.

The Nativity Creche was on display over the Christmas, from the first Advent in December 2013 to Epiphany in January 2014.
