Fokker D.VII was designed in 1918 and became operational mainly in the second half of 1918. Approximately 3300 planes were produced. Fokker D.VII proved to be very good and manouverable fighter which was very successfull in combats. After the war it was still used widely in many countries during the 1920's.
This model shows one of three planes, which Finnish air forces managed to get in the 1920's. Finnish Fokkers did not carry machine guns, they were used only for training purposes. This no. 357 was put out of service in 1924, the other two had crashed down earlier.
